ISET Program
The ISET program will provide support to community members aged 14 and above. There is funding available to support training and employment as well as capacity building for our youth.
The First Nation is in the process of setting up programs that may be of interest to community members. Some of the services that will be provided are an office space with computer access and a printer.
Ruth Modeste will be available for client assessments as they relate to your needs for training and employment. We will also be able to assist those who are receiving Employment Insurance (EI) with training that may be required for return to work.
Our goal is to assist clients with the following programs:
·Resume writing
·Job interview skills
·Client assessments
·Referrals to training and post-secondary training
·E.I. referrals to training programs
·Sharing labour market information
·Internet access for job search
·Job postings and posts on upcoming community-based training
·Career exploration
·First Aid, CPR, WHMIS, and Safe Food Handlers certification.
